Accounts Technician Job Description
We are seeking a skilled Accounts Technician to join our finance team. The successful candidate will be responsible for supporting the Finance Manager with core bookkeeping duties and preparing year-end accounts for a group of small companies.
This is a varied, hands-on role in a collaborative, fast-paced environment. You will play a key role in assisting with the preparation of annual accounts and financial statements, quarterly VAT returns and submissions to Companies House, bank reconciliations, cash book postings, and sales ledger management.
The ideal candidate will have:
* Qualified or Part-Qualified Accounts Technician (AAT/IATI)
* Minimum 1 year's experience in a busy finance/accounts setting
* Proficient in Microsoft Excel and comfortable with accounting systems
* Sage Accounts Production experience desirable
