Job Summary
A Project Scheduler within a Project Management Office (PMO) is responsible for planning, organising, and scheduling project activities. They work closely with project managers and teams to develop detailed project plans, defining tasks, timelines, and resource requirements. Utilising project management software, they create Gantt charts and critical path analyses to visualise project schedules and identify potential bottlenecks. They also support other business units in the presales phase by defining the project execution schedule, especially in Presales.
Responsibilities
* Develop detailed project schedules that outline tasks, dependencies, durations, and milestones.
* Create and maintain schedule data using project management software.
* Collaborate with project managers, team members, and stakeholders to gather information needed for schedule development.
* Facilitate discussions to ensure accurate representation of project activities and timelines.
* Monitor progress and update schedules as needed; analyse critical paths and identify risks or delays.
Qualifications
* Minimum of one year of related work experience in the construction industry, or as a project scheduler or junior project manager.
* Strong written and verbal communication skills.
* Good analytical and planning skills.
* Ability to learn quickly and work under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
* Proficiency with project scheduling software such as Primavera P6 or MS Project.
* Excellent organizational and time-management skills.
