Join the Amazon Reliability Maintenance Engineering team, focusing on maintaining and optimizing technology in our global warehouse and delivery network.
**Purpose of the Job:**
We seek motivated, customer-focused individuals for the role of Senior Reliability Maintenance Engineering Technician. The role involves ensuring safety compliance, conducting preventative maintenance, and maximizing equipment availability through continuous improvement.
**Shift Pattern:**
Includes non-traditional shifts, nights, and weekends.
**Key Responsibilities:**
• Model and monitor health & safety practices.
• Demonstrate SME knowledge of all Material Handling Equipment (MHE).
• Coach and mentor technicians.
• Support and supervise shifts in the absence of the line manager.
• Troubleshoot and prioritize to ensure high equipment availability.
• Support continuous improvement initiatives across the EU network.
• Build effective relationships within the organization.
• Understand OEE and equipment performance metrics.
• Manage contractors.
Basic Qualifications:
* NFQ6 / Higher Certificate or Advanced Certificate in Engineering / NVQ level 3 or equivalent in relevant Engineering field. Proof required.
* For qualifications obtained outside Ireland/UK, a Statement of Comparability from UK ENIC is required.
* Multiskilled in electrical and mechanical disciplines with automation or complex MHE experience.
* Knowledge of PLC controls systems.
* Experience with CMMS for maintenance planning and recording.
* Understanding of statutory compliance.
* Proficiency in English and local language at CEFR Level B2 or higher.
Preferred Qualifications:
* Proven supervisory and influencing skills.
* Ability to multitask and prioritize.
* Experience managing multiple contractors.
* Experience in multi-site environments.
