Performance Modelling Engineer - Graphics / GPU
We are currently partnered with a leading global semiconductor company driving the development of high-performance, power-efficient GPU solutions for mobile, VR, AI, IoT, and autonomous systems. The team is expanding and is looking for a GPU Performance Modelling Engineer to contribute to next-generation GPU architectures and simulation platforms.
This is a permanent position based onsite in Cork, Ireland.
Key Responsibilities for this GPU Performance Modelling Engineer position:
* Develop bitwise-accurate functional GPU models (C-Model) using C/C++ to simulate next-generation GPU architectures.
* Design and implement algorithms for functional blocks and ensure correctness through verification and validation.
* Build and execute robust test suites, including conformance, stress, and random tests, to stabilize GPU and compute systems.
* Collaborate with architects, designers, driver, and compiler teams to define development scope and deliver high-quality solutions.
Key Requirements:
* Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field with 4+ years of experience,
or
Master's with 2+ years,
or
PhD in a relevant discipline.
* Strong programming experience in C++ with clean, maintainable, and professional coding practices.
* Solid understanding of computer architecture and/or graphics pipelines.
