CPL Healthcare is delighted to announce that we are now accepting CVs from experienced professionals for the role of Safeguarding Manager. This position is with a not-for-profit international voluntary organisation based in Dublin. The Safeguarding Manager plays a pivotal role in ensuring the safety and well-being of vulnerable adults and children who receive services from the charity.
The ideal candidate will have:
* An approved qualification in Social Work at NFQ Level 8 or Higher and registered with (or eligible to register) with CORU.
* A recognised qualification in Social Care, Child Care, Nursing or Youth Work;
* A recognised postgraduate qualification in Safeguarding, child protection and welfare, safeguarding vulnerable adults.
AND
* At least 5 years of experience of working in or within a similar role with Safeguarding and Child Protection Responsibilities.
* At least 5 years' experience dealing with safeguarding allegations, complaints, serious incidents and investigations.
* Experience of working at a mid/senior management level is a requirement.
* Previous experience within the Data Protection compliance field, able to demonstrate strong understanding of GDPR and associated legislation.
* Developing policy, procedure and work processes.
