The Quality Patient Safety (QPS) Advisor supports service areas in ensuring that a safe quality service is provided to service users within IHAs Mid West. As part of the QPS Advisor's role they will typically engage with:Service ManagersCommunity Healthcare Network ManagersNurse ManagersGeneral ManagersPersons in ChargeHSPC/Discipline LeadsHeads of ServiceWork with the Quality Safety & Service Improvement Department to develop, deliver, implement and evaluate a comprehensive quality and safety programme with associated structures, policies and processes to improve the quality and safety of services within the Community Services, Integrated Health Areas of Limerick, Clare and North TipperaryTo drive core programmes of work in quality, safety and risk management, including: quality improvementpatient safety and service improvementrisk managementincident management including the facilitation of incident reviewssupporting and advising services in relation to compliance with regulations and the implementation of national standardssupporting services in the implementation of recommendations from inspection reports, reviews and auditspromoting service user and community involvement in improving services.
