The Noel Group is a leading recruitment agency operating nationwide across the hospitality sector. We are proud to partner with a prestigious and well-established client in the luxury hospitality industry to search for an experienced Operations Manager to join their team in Cork.
This is a key leadership position responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of the hotel, ensuring exceptional service delivery, smooth departmental coordination, and achieving operational targets. The successful candidate will be highly organised, guest-focused, and have a strong understanding of hotel operations, including F&B, front office, housekeeping, and maintenance.
Our client is a leading 4-star hotel located in Cork, part of a reputable and expanding hotel group. Known for its outstanding guest service, award-winning dining, and excellent facilities, this hotel is committed to delivering memorable experiences to every guest.
The Duties:
* Oversee daily hotel operations, ensuring high standards are met across all departments.
* Lead and support departmental managers, promoting a culture of collaboration and accountability.
* Monitor financial performance, control costs, and drive revenue growth.
* Ensure health and safety, hygiene, and quality standards are adhered to at all times.
* Support HR functions including recruitment, training, and staff development.
* Manage guest feedback and implement strategies to improve service and satisfaction.
* Report directly to the General Manager and act as Deputy in their absence.
The Requirements:
* 3+ years’ experience in a senior operations or departmental management role within a hotel environment.
* Strong leadership, organisational, and communication skills.
* Proven ability to manage budgets, drive efficiencies, and lead high-performing teams.
* Knowledge of hotel systems and operations (F&B, Front Office, Housekeeping).
* Excellent problem-solving abilities and a hands-on, proactive approach.
* Flexibility to work across shifts, including weekends and holidays.
* Must be currently living in Ireland and have the right to work in the Republic of Ireland.
* Visa and relocation packages are not provided.
The Salary & Benefits:
* Salary: €45,000 per annum (Negotiable depending on experience)
