Training Coordinator – Rehabilitative Training Unit (RTU) (Maternity Leave Cover)
Overview: The RTU offers individual and group‑based rehabilitative training to adults with acquired brain injury (ABI). The national "Next Stage" programme supports trainees to maximize independence, reintegration, and progress to further training, employment, education, or healthy living options.
Qualifications & Experience
* Qualification in Occupational Therapy, Psychology or a relevant health & social care profession with a minimum of 3 years post‑qualification experience and eligibility for a Senior Grade post.
* Experience working with people who have acquired brain injury in rehabilitation or training settings.
* Capacity to coordinate training programme content and delivery systems.
* Ability to assess RTU trainees and design individual training plans in collaboration with trainees and the interdisciplinary team.
* Ability to design, deliver and evaluate training modules for individuals and groups.
* Excellent organisational, communication and team‑working skills.
* High capacity for leadership, responsibility, creativity and initiative.
* Current registration with CORU.
