Manufacturing Accountant My client a manufacturing company in the midlands are looking to hire a qualified accountant to join their team. This is a newly created role within an established team reporting to the head of finance would suit a commercially minded accountant with who enjoys data manipulation and working in a fast paced environment. Duties Prepare weekly management reports, reconciliations, and variance analysis Maintain and update standard costs for materials, labour, and overheads Analyse cost and usage variances; review product costings and BOMs Produce margin analysis by customer and product Support budgeting and forecasting processes Handle ad hoc financial analysis and projects Assist with building & enhancing reporting tools Skills: Qualified Accountant or QBE Strong ERP experience e.g. Oracle, SAP etc. Strong knowledge of cost accounting, variance analysis, and KPIs Skilled in data tools (Power Query, Power BI preferred) Ability to present clear, concise reports Highly motivated, detail-oriented, and deadline-driven Excellent IT and analytical skills Strong communication and teamwork abilities Comfortable explaining financial concepts to non-financial teams Proactive in suggesting improvements At Wallace Myers International Recruitment Agency we specialise in sourcing professionals for key industries and services.
