Job Title:
Office Furniture Specialist
As an Office Furniture Specialist, you will be responsible for installing and assembling office furniture at various client sites. This is a physically demanding job that requires manual labor and the ability to carry heavy items.
* Install and assemble office furniture, including desks, chairs, storage units, and counters.
* Assist with offloading vehicles and loading materials onto site.
* Clean and tidy site on an ongoing basis.
* Assist with maintenance of stores and perform general repairs and maintenance tasks.
* Installation of fit-out elements associated with site work, such as demolitions, lifting carpet, and general repairs.
This role requires strong communication and teamwork skills, as well as the ability to work independently and make decisions under pressure. Over time, evening and weekend shifts may be required (notice given).
Key Skills and Qualifications:
* Assembly of furniture and experience of power tools.
* Previous experience in a construction-led field, such as flooring, electrical, labourer, kitchen fitting, or joinery.
* Full UK clean driver's license and ability to drive a van.
