Job Opportunity
We are seeking a professional to fill the role of Graduate Engineer on a large residential project in Limerick. As a Graduate Engineer, you will be responsible for technical and site engineering tasks, including setting out, surveying, and quality checks.
The ideal candidate will have a degree in Civil Engineering or Construction Management. They should be keen to learn, take initiative, and get involved in all aspects of site delivery. Proficiency in Leica surveying equipment, AutoCAD, and Procore is a plus.
Duties:
* Technical & Site Engineering: Carry out setting out using Leica GPS and Total Station for various tasks, survey and compile as-built information, produce accurate drawings in AutoCAD, conduct detailed quality checks and inspections.
* Coordination & Documentation: Maintain accurate site documentation, ensure subcontractors and site team are working to the latest drawings and specifications, upload daily updates, progress photos, and records to Procore.
* Health, Safety & Site Operations: Support day-to-day management of works across the project, enforce health and safety standards, carry out site inductions, toolbox talks, and other safety briefings.
* Homeowner Interface: Manage snag lists received from homeowners, liaise with residents post-occupation to address any issues.
Requirements:
* Hold a degree in Civil Engineering or related discipline.
* Keen to learn, take initiative, and get involved in all aspects of site delivery.
* Comfortable using (or excited to learn) Leica surveying equipment, AutoCAD, and Procore.
* Organised, dependable, and able to communicate clearly.
