Their mission is to ensure each child feels valued and empowered through high-quality social care services.Role DescriptionThis is a full-time on-site position for a Healthcare Assistant/Support Worker at our Monaghan location. The role involves providing personalized care and support to young residents, ensuring their physical and emotional well-being. Day-to-day responsibilities include assisting with daily activities, supporting children in their developmental goals, administering medication, and maintaining a safe and healthy living environment. Collaboration with other team members and adherence to health and safety standards are also integral to the position.Salary/ BenefitsStarting Salary of €30000 a year depending on experince.Yearly increments of €1000.30 days annual leave a year which increases 1 day a year up to year 5 of employment.Access to company pension scheme.maternity cover after 2 yearsFull training provided by DMC Children Services.Professional supervision provided monthly.QualificationsKnowledge of Manual Handling practices and adherence to Health & Safety standardsStrong Interpersonal Skills to effectively communicate and build positive relationships with young residents and colleaguesExperience in Patient Care and Medicine administrationAbility to provide compassionate and individualized care for teenagersFlexibility to work on a roster basis, including weekends and holidaysFirst Aid certification and experience in residential childcare or a similar role are considered an advantage
