PAYROLL SPECIALIST - FIXED TERM CONTRACT - €50k - WEST CORK Process weekly payrolls for hourly and salaried employees, ensuring accuracy and compliance with Irish tax and employment legislation.
Maintain and update payroll records with a high level of accuracy and confidentiality Respond to employee queries relating to payslips, deductions, and entitlements in a professional and timely manner.
Monitor legislative updates and implement required payroll process changes.
Collaborate with HR to ensure seamless integration between payroll, timekeeping, and employment data.
Manage payroll changes for new hires, leavers, and contract updates, including statutory entitlements and deductions.
Submit Revenue returns (PAYE Modernisation, PRSI, USC) and ensure full compliance with statutory obligations.
Prepare monthly payroll reports and reconciliations for Finance and HR, support audits and year-end processes.
Maintain accurate, confidential payroll records in line with GDPR.
EXPERIENCE 3+ years experience in a payroll processing role, ideally in a high-volume or FMCG environment Strong knowledge of Irish payroll legislation and Revenue systems (e.g. PAYE Modernisation, ROS) Experience using payroll software - notably CORE Proficient in Microsoft Excel and data reporting Excellent attention to detail, organisational skills, and discretion Skills: payroll financial reporting
