We are seeking a dynamic and experiencedQuality Managerto lead quality assurance initiatives across ourFootwear and Accessoriesdepartments. This role is pivotal in ensuring our products meet the highest standards of quality, safety, and compliance across global markets. Based in our Dublin Headquarters, the Quality Manager will lead a of Product Technologists, Assistant and Trainee Technologists. This role requires close collaboration across multiple functions at Primark as well as strong engagement with our global supply base. The Quality Manager will also provide strategic support to the Head of Quality, contributing to the evolution of our quality strategy and driving continuous improvement across the business.
What you'll do:
* Build strong partnerships with internal teams, suppliers, and manufacturers to embed quality at every stage of the product lifecycle
* Lead the design and implementation of global quality control systems that ensure consistency, compliance, and excellence
* Collaborate with suppliers to resolve issues, drive efficiencies, and champion long-term quality improvements
* Support strategic planning and reporting for the Quality function, working closely with senior leadership
* Influence supplier quality standards in partnership with Buying, Merchandising, and Design leadership teams
* Champion Primark’s quality standards across global markets, ensuring clear and consistent communication with all stakeholders
* Lead, coach, and mentor a diverse team of Product Technologists, fostering a culture of inclusion, ownership, and growth
* Inspire collaboration across teams, enabling seamless workflows, knowledge sharing, and innovative problem-solving
* Act as a trusted partner to senior stakeholders, influencing decisions and driving alignment on quality priorities
* Promote continuous improvement by leading change initiatives that deliver efficiencies, cost savings, and sustainable growth
What you’ll need
* 12–15 years’ senior Quality leadership experience in footwear and accessories, ideally within global retail
* Proven track record in leading, coaching, and developing high-performing teams
* Strong expertise in product development, manufacturing processes, and global compliance standards
* Skilled at influencing and inspiring cross-functional teams and senior stakeholders
* Excellent communication, presentation, and relationship-building skills
* Highly organised, adaptable, and resilient in fast-paced, evolving environments
* Visionary, innovative leader with sound judgement, integrity, and a focus on continuous improvement
