Our Corporate Reporting & Accounting Advisory service area aims to help our clients report with clarity, comply with confidence and plan for what’s next.

Our Corporate Reporting & Accounting Advisory service area provides clients with:
* Corporate reporting and accounting technical updates. Stay ahead of change with tailored training on IFRS, UK GAAP, US GAAP and other regulatory updates. From webinars to bespoke C-suite sessions, we empower your teams with knowledge they can use immediately.
* Reporting refresh. Make your reports work harder. We help you streamline and modernise internal and external reporting to reflect stakeholder needs and reduce preparation efforts.
* Reporting automation. Save time and reduce errors by automating key reporting processes. Our team works with you to identify practical, cost-effective automation solutions that integrate seamlessly with your systems – regardless of the platform. Our solutions are quick to adopt, with time-boxed implementation timelines, helping finance teams realise the benefits quickly.
* Accounting advisory. Complex transactions and new standards mean unfamiliar territory for finance teams. We’re here to help you navigate accounting challenges with confidence. Whether you’re implementing a new standard or accounting for a significant business event, we offer hands-on, expert support – from technical analysis through to real-world application.
Key Responsibilities
* Detailed knowledge of IFRS/ UK GAAP with a higher degree of specialisation in topics / markets.
* Pro-actively assist in identifying strategic opportunities and driving the business unit strategy by managing projects and other initiatives.
* Perform reviews of financial statements in accordance with the applicable requirements of the preparation frameworks.
* Writing technical briefs and other articles on accounting application issues, including contentious or complex issues
* Initiate and lead client meetings (even where not required for a specific query) at appropriate levels within the client or internally and ensure that the appropriate Partner is involved where necessary / relevant.
* Provide coaching and input to staff during the consultation process and review of consultations / opinions.
* Present technical meeting topics, staff training updates, technical updates, client training and other training.
* Horizon scan for changes to reporting frameworks and use the output of these scans to identify and develop opportunities to drive strategic business development growth
* Actively supporting and driving key strategic activities and supporting retention by:
* Taking responsibility for departmental teams and monitoring productivity of such teams, including ensuring a fair allocation of work and that team members achieve appropriate chargeability targets.
* Empowering staff to enable them to work autonomously
Ideal Candidate
* Qualified Chartered Accountant with excellent proven IFRS knowledge in a technical role
* Experience in managing teams ideally within a professional services environment.
* 5 + years’ minimum PQE.
* Excellent interpersonal skills with ability to communicate and interact with people at all levels.
* Ability to do research, work independently whilst producing and delivering good quality results
* Ability to build and sustain relationships with people at all levels
* Good business writing skills
* Good organizational and time management skills
* Professional work ethic
* Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
* Team player
