Heyday Hostel is seeking an enthusiastic and reliable new Hostel Manager to head the Heyday Hostel team. The ideal person should be able to multi-task as well as work independently. Their experience should span a range of areas including staff recruitment, training, rostering and management; co-ordination of sales, public relations & marketing; maintaining a high standard of customer service and guest-focused practices; maintaining relationships with other hospitality-focused bodies, as well as the day-to-day housekeeping and maintenance.
Customer service and strong communication skills are essential. A professional and positive attitude is a must. Applicants should have a strong guest focus to ensure they have a comfortable stay. Maintaining high standards is vital to ensure Heyday Hostel, Ballina sustains its consistent positive reviews.
The ideal candidate should have a minimum of two years' experience in a management role in hospitality, have strong computer skills as well as being social media savvy.
Offering an immediate start, this full-time role will comprise 40 hours. Flexibility will be key as this role will include both day, evening and weekend shift patterns.
