Facilities Maintenance Lead
The Facilities Maintenance Lead plays a pivotal role in delivering high-quality maintenance services to production and site-wide facilities.
* Lead a team of skilled fitters/electricians in day-to-day activities within a busy engineering department.
* Collaborate with the maintenance team to solve mechanical and electrical issues on the manufacturing plant.
* Ensure effective maintenance downtime analysis, root cause identification, and problem-solving strategies for optimal plant performance.
Responsibilities:
* Oversee the procurement system for the maintenance department, working closely with the administrator.
* Participate in continuous improvement projects to enhance company operations.
* Manage supplier relationships and costs for the maintenance department.
* Plan and issue all preventive maintenance requests for the company.
Requirements:
* A minimum of 5 years' experience operating in a regulated industry/environment as a qualified mechanical fitter/mechanic.
* Excellent problem-solving skills and analytical thinking.
* Proficient PC skills and ability to work efficiently in software applications.
* Demonstrated project management skills and ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
