As our schoolbook supply division continues to grow, we are expanding operations in our dedicated warehouses. We are now seeking a professional Warehouse & Logistics Manager to establish and lead a modern, efficient, and scalable warehouse operation to support our nationwide schoolbook business.Key ResponsibilitiesWarehouse OperationsOversee the day-to-day operations of the new schoolbook warehouse, including receiving, storage, order picking, packing, and dispatch.Implement and maintain efficient layout, storage systems, and workflow processes to maximize productivity and accuracy.Ensure stock accuracy through cycle counts, reconciliations, and reporting.Manage seasonal ramp-ups efficiently (e.g., back-to-school period) by forecasting volume, staffing needs, and resources.Maintain all health, safety, and compliance standards within the warehouse.Logistics & FulfilmentCoordinate incoming deliveries from publishers and outgoing shipments to schools, branches, and other customers.Develop delivery schedules, optimize transport routes, and manage relationships with courier partners or in-house drivers.Track and report on KPIs such as order turnaround times, fulfilment accuracy, and delivery performance.Systems & Process ImprovementIntroduce modern warehouse management practices.Work closely with IT and operations teams to integrate warehouse systems with O'Mahony's e-commerce, POS, and institutional supply platforms.Identify opportunities to streamline and digitize workflows across the supply chain.Team LeadershipRecruit, train, and manage warehouse staff (both full-time and seasonal).Build a strong, accountable team culture focused on safety, accuracy, and continuous improvement.Lead by example during peak periods — hands-on and operationally engaged.Strategic & Financial ContributionManage warehouse budgets, equipment procurement, and cost efficiencies.Contribute to operational planning and capacity forecasting for the division's continued growth.Provide regular reports and insights to management on performance and improvement initiatives.Job Type: Full-timePay: €28,000.00-€36,000.00 per yearBenefits:Employee discountExperience:Warehouse management: 3 years (preferred)Logistics: 3 years (preferred)Work Location: In person
