Based in Cork, Ireland, this is an opportunity for a Principal Analog IC Design Engineer to drive innovation and tackle exciting challenges in the world of custom analog, RF, and mixed‑signal design with one of the world’s global technology leaders.
Responsibilities
* Leading the analog and mixed‑signal design of high‑speed memory interface components used in state‑of‑the‑art DDR memory interface PHYs in leading‑edge technology nodes such as 5nm FinFET CMOS
* Driving the design phase from initial concept, specification through to final verification, and working closely with the physical design team
* Mentoring junior Analog IC Design Engineers within the team
Qualifications
* Degree‑qualified with a BEng/MEng in electrical engineering or a related discipline
* Very experienced within analog high‑speed design, for instance CMOS SerDes, DDR, or high‑speed I/O design
* Experience in some of the following circuit blocks: driver, receiver, serializer, deserializer, phase interpolator, low‑jitter PLL, high‑speed clock distribution, bias and bandgap, voltage regulators
* Excellent communication skills in English
