Role: Dental Receptionist & Nurse Assistant
Contract: Contract (Full-time)
Location: Harold's Cross Rd, Terenure, Dublin 6w
Key Responsibilities (primarily Reception):
Warmly greet and welcome patients, ensuring a positive first impression.
Manage appointment scheduling, cancellations, and reschedules efficiently.
Handle patient registration, update records, and ensure accurate information.
Manage incoming calls, emails, and patient inquiries promptly and professionally.
Process payments, manage billing, and handle basic insurance queries.
Maintain a tidy and organized reception and waiting area.
Assist with clinic supervisor tasks as required.
Nurse Assistant Responsibilities (as needed):
Prepare treatment rooms for patient appointments, ensuring they are clean, stocked, and ready.
Assist dental nurses and dentists during procedures, providing chairside support.
Help with instrument sterilization and maintenance of clinical areas.
Ensure patient comfort and provide pre- and post-operative instructions as directed.
Manage stock control for clinical supplies.
What We Are Looking For:
Previous experience in a dental or medical reception role is highly preferred.
Basic understanding of dental procedures and terminology is a plus.
Local candidates preferred.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a compassionate approach to patient care.
Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
Ability to multitask and work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
Proficient in using dental practice management software experience with Dentally is an advantage.
A proactive attitude and willingness to learn and adapt.
