Exciting opportunity for a CAD/O&M Technician to join our Maintenance division.
Duties & Responsibilities:
* Prepare and develop technical submittals in line with project specifications.
* Coordinate with design teams, suppliers, and manufacturers to gather technical data and compliance documentation.
* Ensure all submittals meet client, consultant, and contract requirements.
* Track submittal status and respond to consultant/client comments.
* Liaise with site team to ensure approved submittals are understood
AutoCAD Drafting and Coordination
* Produce detailed 2D CAD drawings (plans, sections, elevations, schematics) for construction, or client update purposes.
* Revise drawings based on design changes, RFIs, or site conditions.
* Update construction drawings to reflect as-built site conditions
As-Built Drawings & Handover Documentation
* Organise, prepare, and submit handover packs including:
* Material Data Sheets and CE certificate
* Test reports and commissioning documents
* QA/QC documentation & Compliance certificates
* As-built drawings
Document Control & Quality Assurance
* Ensure filing and tracking of all technical documents and drawings in line with relevant ISO standards
* Maintain version control and document logs for submittals and handover packs.
Project Coordination & Support
* Support the project manager/engineer in documentation and design-related tasks.
* Liaise between design, construction, and procurement teams for timely submission of documents.
Previous Experience / Qualifications:
* Knowledge of AutoCAD / Navis Works BIM packages, to generate drawings / update layouts.
* Excellent Word processing, Spreadsheet and PDF (Adobe) packages and software skills.
* Knowledge of MS Excel, Word and PowerPoint packages, with particular emphasis on MS Excel.
* Able to work on own initiative and as part of a team.
* Ability to manage work load, prioritise tasks and meet Project handover deadlines.
* Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
* Attention to detail, to ensure accurate information is provided.
* Construction experience / knowledge.
* Past experience of producing O&M Manuals for handover, would be beneficial.

Full Time Position
Salary is dependent on experience.
Position based in Newbridge Co. Kildare, working on various Electrical Projects.
Working Time 39 hours per week.
