Right Now.®As a leading Staffing and Consulting company with offices across North America and Europe, we focus on proactively building a network of highly skilled professionals across 4 key disciplines - Life Sciences, IT, Lab Services & Engineering – to assist our most valued asset, Our Clients, in achieving their goals.The RoleThe Junior AP Specialist position will be a key member of the Finance Team in the European Shared Services at our European HQ in Cork and is responsible for supporting the Payments and Payroll teams.Some of the key duties in this role would include:Setting up supplier accountsVerbally verifying bank details for all new payeesEntering approved invoicesProcessing of approved payments per correct payment datesCommunicating invoices issues to consultants and internal Oxford StaffWorking with the billing team on adjustments to enable payment of invoicesAssisting the accountant with the bank reconciliationCovering payrolls in the absence of the Payroll SpecialistAssist in the preparation of monthly, quarterly and year end files for internal and external auditsKey Skills & AbilitiesAccounts experience, including:Accounts Payable LedgerExperience of a multi-currency environmentGood Microsoft Office skills, specifically ExcelMust be organized and able to work to tight deadlinesNeeds to work accurately and have a good eye for detailGood organisational skills – ability to organise, plan and prioritise own workload within changing timescales and parametersNice to haveKnowledge of Payroll ProcessesCompetenciesExcellent Communication in English – written & verbalCustomer Service experience with international clientsTeamworkInitiativePerformance Drive and ExecutionInitial 6 Month Contract with potential for extension / permanency thereafter
