Renowned for delivering high-quality structural solutions, our client is experiencing rapid growth and is seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Junior Quantity Surveyor to join their dynamic team.
The Role:
This is an excellent opportunity for a budding Quantity Surveyor looking to develop their career within the public and commercial build sectors. You will assist in the commercial management of projects, ensuring cost control, value engineering, and contract compliance while working closely with senior surveyors and project managers.
Key Responsibilities:
Assist in the preparation of cost estimates and budgets.
Support the management of subcontractor procurement and payments.
Conduct site visits to monitor progress and verify completed works.
Help prepare monthly valuations and final accounts.
Contribute to the preparation of contract documents and variations.
Maintain accurate records and documentation for all project activities.
About You:
Degree or equivalent qualification in Quantity Surveying, Construction Management, or a related field.
Experience or a placement in a construction environment is highly desirable.
Strong analytical and numerical skills.
Excellent communication and negotiation abilities.
Proficiency in using Microsoft Office and industry‑specific software.
