As a Windows Server Administrator, you'll install, configure, maintain, and deploy applications in support of our business needs. You'll ensure client applications and infrastructure changes are communicated to the necessary teams across the enterprise.
Primary Responsibilities:
1. Complete required job training, including Epic EHR certifications, within six months and maintain certifications up to date.
2. Install, configure, maintain, and deploy client and delivery infrastructure components on Microsoft Windows-based virtual servers.
3. Deploy and test Windows operating systems, including virus updates, patches, and performance tuning.
4. Maintain and support Epic production (PRD) and non-production (non-PRD) services like Hyperspace and Interconnect, and related services.
5. Help manage Change Control processes for all client application environment build migrations and infrastructure upgrades.
6. Monitor system performance as part of daily operational requirements.
7. Assist in reviewing system/application logs, verifying completion of scheduled jobs, including system backups.
8. Review incident tickets and notes, and apply routine upgrades to client applications and back-end services.
9. Assist in integrating other applications using web services.
10. Implement system high availability strategies and mechanisms.
11. Develop disaster recovery procedures.
12. Troubleshoot and diagnose application issues, implementing solutions.
13. Ensure client's application and infrastructure changes are communicated to the necessary teams across the enterprise.
14. Define, create user accounts, profiles, roles, and maintain required audit information.
15. Work closely with database, environment/infrastructure, and internal/external enterprise security teams.
16. Provide on-call support for production performance/availability or other critical issues.
17. Perform other duties as assigned.
Required Qualifications:
1. Degree Qualified in a relevant field (Data Science or STEM subject) or equivalent experience.
2. Experience working with Windows Administrator or Citrix.
Preferred Qualifications:
1. Prior certifications on Microsoft Administrator (any) or CompTIA A+.
2. Experience working with Epic Systems.
3. Experience working in an entry-level role or at a helpdesk.
4. Experience working on Cloud Platforms (Azure or AWS).
