Forecourt Retail Operations Manager
We are seeking an experienced retail professional to lead the operations of our busy store in Kildare Village.
The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in managing teams and driving sales growth while maintaining high standards of customer service.
This is a fantastic opportunity for a motivated and sales-driven individual to join our team as a Retail Operations Manager. As a key member of our management team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth day-to-day operation of the store, including staff management, stock control, and customer service.
Responsibilities:
* Operational Management: Ensure the efficient day-to-day operation of the store, including staff supervision, stock management, and inventory control.
* Staff Development: Recruit, train, and develop high-quality personnel to achieve business objectives.
* Cost Management: Oversee rostering and general management of personnel to ensure adequate cover within budgetary provisions.
* Financial Performance: Analyse financial reports, identify areas for improvement, and report discrepancies to senior management.
* Health & Safety: Ensure the health and safety of all personnel and customers in-store, identifying and mitigating risks where possible.
* Quality Assurance: Implement and maintain quality assurance processes to ensure excellent customer experience.
Requirements:
* Proven Operational Experience: A minimum of 2 years' experience in a retail management role, preferably in a fast-paced environment.
* Excellent Communication Skills: Strong verbal and written communication skills with the ability to build effective relationships with colleagues and customers.
* Commercial Acumen: Proven ability to analyse financial data, identify trends, and make informed decisions to drive business growth.
* Leadership Skills: Ability to motivate and inspire a team to deliver exceptional results.
* Knowledge of Retail Regulations: Working knowledge of Labour Law, Health & Safety regulations, HACCP, and Consumer Law.
