Job Description:

Main Responsibilities:
Your role will involve working closely with Engineering and Operations personnel to troubleshoot issues, make changes to control systems in line with site change control procedures and site standards, responding to system events, and performing routine computer system maintenance checks.
Key Tasks:
1. Provide day-to-day operation's support for automated equipment and skid vendor proprietary equipment.
2. Troubleshoot issues and make changes to the control systems as needed.
3. Respond to system events and perform routine computer system maintenance checks.
Automation Expertise:
In this role, you will be expected to provide subject matter expertise for automated system design, development, installation, testing, validation, and support. This includes designing and developing programmable logic controller (PLC) automation system software, Human-Machine Interface (HMI) systems, and maintaining the validated state of logistics automated systems in line with Lilly quality standards.
Requirements:
To be successful in this role, you will need at least 5 years of working experience in Biopharma engineering, operations, or manufacturing. You should have experience with Siemens PLC/HMI configuration, industrial communication protocols, and possess strong technical skills, including problem-solving abilities and a keen curiosity about automation systems. Additionally, you will need excellent written and verbal communication skills, both for technical and non-technical audiences. We prefer candidates with 7+ years of experience in controls engineering in a highly automated environment supporting various PLC-related control systems.
