A well‑established and growing accountancy practice in Dublin is seeking an experienced Senior Accountant to join their team. This is an excellent opportunity for a motivated accounting professional looking to take the next step in their career within a supportive and client‑focused practice environment. The successful candidate will play a key role in managing client accounts, preparing financial reports, and supporting audit and compliance processes across a varied portfolio of clients.
Key Responsibilities

Preparing and reviewing financial statements for a range of clients
Preparing audit files and supporting audit processes
Completing and filing VAT returns accurately and on time
Assisting with month‑end and year‑end accounts preparation
Managing client relationships and acting as a key point of contact
Ensuring compliance with accounting standards and regulatory requirements
Supporting junior team members where required
Liaising with partners and clients on financial and operational matters

Requirements

ACA / ACCA qualified or qualified by experience
Previous experience working within an accountancy practice environment
Strong experience preparing audit files and financial statements
Solid knowledge of VAT compliance and returns
Excellent technical accounting knowledge
Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple deadlines
Proficient in accounting software and Microsoft Excel
Excellent communication and client‑management skills
