An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced and strategic Operations & Planning Director to join a growing multinational organisation based in Shannon. This is a pivotal senior leadership role overseeing end-to-end operations and supply chain activities, including planning, logistics, vendor management, and continuous improvement. The successful candidate will play a key role in shaping the operational strategy, leading a talented local team, and driving alignment between global and regional business objectives. Key Responsibilities Lead and develop high-performing teams across Supply, Planning, and Order Management. Design and implement operations and supply chain strategies that enhance efficiency, scalability, and quality. Oversee demand and supply planning using Anaplan (or similar tools) and manage system integration with Microsoft Great Plains. Collaborate cross-functionally with Sales, Finance, Product, and Marketing teams to drive data-led forecasting and decision-making. Manage supplier relationships, 3PL partners, and logistics operations across EMEA. Ensure compliance with Irish, EU, and international trade, customs, and environmental regulations. Lead process improvement initiatives and digital transformation projects to streamline order management, invoicing, and reporting. Define, monitor, and report key operational KPIs including on-time delivery, service levels, cost efficiency, and lead-time reduction. Champion a culture of accountability, continuous improvement, and operational excellence. About You You are a results-driven leader with a strategic mindset and a hands-on approach. You excel at building and empowering teams, improving processes, and driving performance in fast-paced, international environments. Experience & Skills Degree in Supply Chain, Business, Logistics, Engineering, or related discipline. Minimum 5 years experience in senior supply chain, logistics, or operations management roles. Strong knowledge of supply chain principles, S&OP processes, and demand planning methodologies. Hands-on experience with Anaplan (or similar planning platforms) and Microsoft Great Plains. Excellent leadership, analytical, and problem-solving skills. Deep understanding of international trade, customs, and regulatory compliance within EMEA.
