As a Packaging Development Engineer, you will play a crucial role in the development and implementation of packaging solutions for our products. This is an exciting opportunity to join our team and contribute to the success of our organisation.
Key Responsibilities:
* You will provide technical support for product packaging development at Contract Manufacturing Organisations (CMOs), ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements.
* Support troubleshooting efforts and high-level deviation investigations in conjunction with CMOs and internal partners, driving process improvements and reducing downtime.
* You will own and manage Change Controls and Risk Assessments executed in support of Packaging Development activities, mitigating risks and ensuring seamless execution.
* Prepare technical documents including Packaging Tech Transfer Protocols, Packaging Technical Studies, and User Requirements Specifications, communicating complex information effectively.
* You will collect, organise, trend, and analyse Packaging Development data, providing valuable insights to inform business decisions.
* Contribute to regulatory agency submissions in support of Finished Product (FP) manufacturing processes at internal/external FP manufacturing sites, ensuring compliance and accuracy.
Requirements:
* A Bachelor's degree in engineering or equivalent experience in pharmaceutical or medical device packaging development is preferred.
* You should have a strong understanding of current Good Manufacturing Practice (cGMP) requirements for biopharmaceutical manufacturing, ensuring adherence to industry standards.
* Excellent communication skills are required to present and influence, facilitating effective collaboration across teams.
* You should be an organised analytical thinker with strong attention to detail, delivering high-quality results under pressure.
* Proficiency in MS Excel, MS Word, and MS PowerPoint is essential for producing professional reports and presentations.
* Experience working with systems within a GMP environment such as Change Control and Document Management systems is highly desirable.
