We are currently seeking a highly-motivated Outreach Respite Manager to join our team in Limerick Family Support Services, Limerick.
Contract

Full time permanent contract
35 hours per week
Salary: €55,430 – €68,228 pro rata per annum (subject to LSI increases in 2026)
Annual leave: 33 days per annum pro rata

Overview of the Post
The post holder will develop, manage and deliver a range of respite services in the region, including day, evening and weekend respite, after‑school support, summer activity sessions and future alternative respite services across the Southeast. Responsibilities include staffing management, budgeting, ensuring high standards of respite care, planning, developing, managing and reviewing services in line with identified needs and the organisation’s strategic plan.
The role ensures compliance with relevant standards and the implementation of the organisation’s policies and procedures, maintaining child‑centred care and best practice. The successful candidate will line‑manage and supervise staff, ensuring appropriate training is delivered.
Duties and Responsibilities
Key responsibilities include:

Develop and implement respite services for children with disabilities
Manage staffing, budgets and resource allocation
Ensure compliance with standards and policies
Lead and supervise staff, providing training and support
Maintain and review service quality and clinical care standards

Essential Criteria

Recognised third‑level qualification in Nursing or Social Care relevant to the post
Experience working with children with disabilities
Previous management/supervisory experience relevant to the role
Experience leading and managing teams and resource management
Full driver’s licence and access to own transport
Right to work in Ireland
CORO/NMBI registration

Desirable Criteria

Management qualification
Experience delivering training
Experience in the health care or non‑for‑profit sector
