At Spirit Foster, we're looking for a fully qualified diagnostic technician to join our team. Our staff provide the highest level of service to Volkswagen, Seat, Skoda, and Cupra customers. We are located in the Stillorgan Industrial Park, near the Stillorgan Luas station, with State‑of‑the‑art workshops and support for technicians.
About The Role
As a Diagnostic Technician, you will report to the Service Manager and serve vehicle diagnostics and repair tasks. You will:
* Servicing vehicles to the highest standards of the Spirit Motor Group as well as manufacturer specifications and guidelines.
* Diagnosing, testing, and repairing faults using the latest technologies.
* Working with the latest release models, including PHEV and EV.
* Receiving up‑to‑date training in relevant technologies as the brands evolve.
* Performing and reporting on vehicle health checks.
* Communicating requirements, additional parts, and repairs on customer vehicles via the service desk.
* Supporting apprentices and helping colleagues as part of a team.
Skills And Experience
* Experience working with EV and PHEV vehicles is essential.
* Attention to detail when completing documentation and IT systems.
* Be literate, numerate with fluent written & spoken English and good communication skills.
* Full, valid, clean driving licence.
* Knowledge and understanding of health and safety practices in the industry.
* Non‑EEA candidates must hold a current work permit for Ireland.
