The Role
• Responsible for the accounts payable function including dealing with supplier queries and invoices
• Reconciliation of supplier statements on a monthly basis and resolving any issues
• Scheduling of payments to suppliers in conjunction with Plant Accountant
• Posting of payments and issuing of remittance advices
• Clearing invoices against purchase order numbers
• Payment of Expenses for EMEA
• Ad hoc projects as required
• General Office Duties
• Handle month end AP tasks to support accurate financial statements
Essential Requirements:
• 2+ year relevant experience
• Strong communication skills
• Excellent Organisational skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Should show good initiative
• Self motivated & ability to work to tight deadlines
• Microsoft Office - Excel, Word and Outlook
Desirable Requirements:
• Accounting Technician Part/Full Qualified
• Experience of working with Great Plains accounting software package
