We seek a well-rounded individual to join PGIM Fixed Income's Application Service Delivery team, managing the production environment in our Letterkenny office on a hybrid basis. The ideal candidate is eager to learn and interested in managing complex investment management platforms, including front-office systems, support applications, and back-office data platforms. This role offers a unique opportunity to contribute to our global technology transformation.
Responsibilities:
* Manage production systems used by Front Office, Operations, and Client teams.
* Oversee PGIM Fixed Income technology batch environment.
* Ensure operation, monitoring, and integrity of the technology platform, including nightly data imports from external vendors.
* Be on-call for failure escalations on a rotational basis, including evenings and weekends.
* Participate in incident and problem management, including resolution, root cause analysis, and reporting.
* Maintain the reliability and resiliency of the production environment following established processes.
* Manage relationships with internal business and technology stakeholders.
* Coordinate with external vendors and support organizations to resolve issues and implement enhancements.
Requirements:
* 5+ years in a technology role, preferably in software development or application support.
* Strong communication, research, analytical, and troubleshooting skills.
* Ownership mindset and quick incident resolution skills.
* Experience with SQL (MS SQL preferred).
* Familiarity with Linux commands and scripting.
* Experience with scheduling tools like Autosys.
* Excellent documentation skills.
Desirable Skills:
* Experience with Cloud technologies (AWS/Azure).
* Software development skills for code changes and automation.
* Ability to operate independently and prioritize effectively.
* Strong interpersonal and relationship-building skills.
* Ability to handle high-pressure situations and manage multiple incidents.
