Job Description
The Global Supply Chain Security Regional Manager leads the regional implementation and execution of strategic and tactical operations to ensure efficient and secure movement of all products and materials. The role focuses on protecting patient safety and protecting the supply chain against illicit actions, product theft, missing or lost shipments, terrorism, and unauthorized activities that threaten product integrity within J&J.
Responsibilities
* Represent J&J Credo values of integrity, vigilance, and excellence.
* Lead regional execution of J&J’s global Supply Chain Security Strategy and protect the supply chain from theft, diversion, tampering, missing or lost shipments, terrorism, and illicit activities.
* Provide Supply Chain Security liaison with cross‑functional supply chain representatives.
* Conduct thorough security assessments and due diligence investigations for existing and new suppliers/providers.
* Manage initiatives to enhance protection of high‑value supply chain operations and products.
* Obtain, research, and disseminate regional and local intelligence.
* Interface regularly with insurers for compliance with their security requirements.
* Act as principal security liaison with law enforcement officials and agencies related to J&J supply chain security programs.
* Investigate events that involve supply chain security issues.
* Provide training for local employees and contracted service providers on supply chain security procedures and protocols.
* Remain current with the newest technological advances within the supply chain security discipline.
* Participate in seminars, conferences, workshops, and related events on supply chain and physical security disciplines.
Qualifications
* Bachelor’s Degree and at least five years of professional security experience, preferably in the pharmaceutical industry or extensive law enforcement/corporate security experience in logistics/supply chain fields.
* General understanding of pharmaceutical operations and related supply chains, including regulatory requirements (GxP, CTPAT, TAPA, AEO, PIP, etc.).
* Knowledge of supply chain operations, logistics, warehousing, and all modes of transportation.
* Investigations experience supporting or generating case reports for criminal and civil enforcement actions.
* Knowledge and experience in physical security principles and security risk assessment methodologies.
* Experience preparing briefing materials and reports for management and government officials.
* Understanding of industry best practices for supply chain security.
* Strong client orientation, results driven, and able to work independently with little supervision.
* Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
* Proficient use of MS Office software and presentation tools.
