Action Physio Athlone is a dynamic, patient-focused private practice located in the heart of Athlone. With a strong reputation for clinical excellence and a loyal client base, we provide hands‑on, evidence‑based physiotherapy services across a wide range of conditions – from musculoskeletal and sports injuries to post‑op rehabilitation and chronic pain management.
We are expanding our team to meet growing demand and are looking for an enthusiastic, self‑motivated physiotherapist to join our busy clinic.
Key Responsibilities
* Assess, diagnose, and treat a variety of musculoskeletal conditions using manual therapy, exercise prescription, and other evidence‑based techniques.
* Manage a busy and varied caseload efficiently while maintaining high standards of care.
* Deliver exceptional patient outcomes through tailored treatment plans and ongoing support.
* Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation in accordance with professional and legal requirements.
* Liaise with GPs, consultants, and other health professionals as needed.
* Contribute to the continued growth and success of the clinic through excellent patient care and professionalism.
Requirements
* BSc or MSc in Physiotherapy (or equivalent)
* CORU registration (or in the process of obtaining)
* Membership of the Irish Society of Chartered Physiotherapists (ISCP)
* Minimum 1 year of experience in musculoskeletal physiotherapy (preferred)
* Strong manual therapy and exercise prescription skills
* Ability to work independently and manage a busy caseload
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
* A positive, proactive attitude and a commitment to ongoing professional development
* Experience in private practice or sports physiotherapy
* Dry needling, Pilates, or strength & conditioning certification (desired but not necessary)
* Availability for some evening or Saturday clinics
