Your new companyA market leading mechanical contractor that works on award-winning projects across Ireland.Due to increased growth across Mayo & Sligo, they are now seeking to recruit a Mechanical Piping Supervisor where you will report to the mechanical project manager and will work with a multi-functional team in delivering projects to quality, on time and to budget.A Mechanical Supervisor is required for one of Ireland's leading Mechanical Contractors. The successful candidate will work on a large multi-million project.Duties:Coordinating and planning of resources including labour, materials and subcontractorsManage piping and welding subcontractors (process and high purity)General knowledge of Mechanical, HVAC, building services, utilities & process piping systemsInterpret schematics and mechanical drawingsManage and drive a team to meet all project requirements and deadlinesEnsure adherence to safety and quality standardsReport variations and delays to the Project Manager.Prepare relevant reportsEnsure adherence to safety and quality standardsReporting on progressEnsure the quality of work is maintained throughout installationEnsure Health & Safety compliance for direct staff and subcontractorsRegular reviews of working practices to help improve site safetyRequirements:A Mechanical Degree or Trade qualification is essential.5+ years' experience with an Irish or UK contractor in a Mechanical Supervisor role.Experience in Process Piping systems on Pharmaceutical / Medical Devices / Industrial / Data Centre or similar projects is essential.Fluent English with excellent communication and interpersonal skills.Must be proficient in MS Office and Navisworks.Ability to work to strict deadlines.What you'll get in returnExcellent remunerationOpportunity to build your professional career by supervising mechanical engineering trade professionals in the delivery of 'leading edge' engineering projects.
