Assistant Lecturer in Medical Science (Specified Purpose Wholetime) (Reference: 332a/2025)
The successful candidate will be required to teach across a range of topics relevant to medical science, including medical microbiology and molecular diagnostics.
Experience in the delivery of e-learning and the use of virtual learning environments and/or education management systems such as Brightspace is desirable.
The successful candidate will be required to contribute to postgraduate education and research in the University. A track record of professional, research and scholarly activities, which will support the research and scholarly activities of the School of Biological, Health and Sports Sciences is required. The successful candidate will require to be flexible and work on their own initiative as well as contributing to a team of professionals. The School is seeking an enthusiastic team player with the ability to network with colleagues and other stakeholders. Communication with students is particularly important.
Applicants must be registered with the Medical Science Registration Board (MSRB), CORU.
Hours of Work: A 35-hour working week is in operation
Location: The post will be based at TU Dublin Grangegorman Campus.
Salary
The Assistant Lecturer Scale is:
* € 51,153 - € 63,104
* €46,601- € 63,104 (New Entrants)
Appointments will be made at the appropriate point on the appropriate scale.
