Job Overview:
We are seeking an experienced and commercially astute Senior Quantity Surveyor to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for the full cost management of projects from tender stage through to final account, ensuring projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest standard.
Key Responsibilities:
* Lead and manage all cost planning, estimating, and commercial management of multiple projects.
* Prepare tender and contract documents, including bills of quantities.
* Conduct feasibility studies and perform risk and value management.
* Monitor project progress and control costs throughout the lifecycle.
* Manage subcontractor procurement, valuations, and final accounts.
* Provide accurate reporting on project performance, forecasting, and budget control.
* Liaise with clients, consultants, and internal teams to ensure project success.
* Ensure compliance with contractual and legal requirements.
* Mentor and support junior QS staff, contributing to team development and training.
