Key Qualifications
* Technical qualification in engineering, preferably at degree level.
* Previous sales experience in electrical or mechanical engineering.
* Experience in electrical systems, distribution and protection, and power quality.
* Software sales experience an advantage.
* Account management skills.
* Cold calling and social selling experience.
Responsibilities
1. Initiate contact and develop a commercial strategy for targeted customers.
2. Promote and educate applicable customers on products and services.
3. Develop knowledge of the full product portfolio and how to apply it across the customer lifecycle.
4. Cross-sell products and services.
5. Establish dynamic sales plans based on Best in Sales principles and Personal Sales Plan.
6. Bridge Front Office by capturing opportunity data and producing reports.
7. Provide timely information to the tendering team and other sales team members.
8. Collaborate with internal colleagues to ensure effective cross-entity cooperation.
9. Manage customer and partner records using company tools.
10. Maintain personal awareness of development needs and actively develop core competency.
11. Support company initiatives and champion product competency development.
12. Monitor competitor actions and provide accurate information and reporting as required.
