Career Vision Recruiters are seeking an experienced and ambitious Duty Manager to join a dynamic team at a 4-star hotel in Dublin City Centre. This role offers a unique opportunity for a hospitality professional to grow within the organization, with a clear pathway to Operations Manager in 18-24 months.
The ideal candidate will have prior experience in a similar role within a 4-star property, demonstrating a strong understanding of Food & Beverage (F&B) operations, front office management, and proficiency in property management systems (PMS)—preferably Opera.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Oversee daily operations across all departments, ensuring exceptional guest experiences and operational efficiency.
2. Manage and support F&B services, ensuring smooth, high-volume operations.
3. Supervise front office functions, including check-ins, check-outs, and guest relations.
4. Monitor and ensure compliance with health, safety, and brand standards.
5. Assist in staff training and development to uphold high service standards.
6. Act as the point of contact for guest complaints, resolving issues promptly and professionally.
7. Collaborate with department heads to optimize operations and drive revenue.
8. Prepare operational reports for senior management.
Ideal Candidate:
1. Previous Duty Manager experience in a 4-star hotel.
2. Strong background in F&B operations and front office management.
3. Proficiency in Opera PMS or a similar system.
4. Exceptional leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
5. Strong customer-focused mindset with a drive for excellence.
6. Ambitious, with a desire to progress into an Operations Manager role.
7. Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment.
