Automation Engineer - DeltaV (BBBH28135) Limerick, Republic of Ireland
LSC has a great contract opportunity for a DeltaV Automation Engineer to join an innovative and rapidly growing biopharmaceutical company in Limerick.

About the Project - Key Responsibilities:
The Automation Engineer is responsible for supporting the startup of a new Process Area through the full project lifecycle, including detailed design, commissioning, and qualification.
A typical day might include but is not limited to:
1. Programming, diagnosing, and troubleshooting DeltaV applications for automated bioprocess equipment.
2. Development of automation design documentation.
3. Design and configuration of process graphics.
4. Overseeing coding of DeltaV CMs, EMs, and Phase Classes to site standards.
5. Supporting the design of Unit Operations, Unit Procedures, and Procedures.
6. Working with validation engineers to ensure code validation to appropriate standards.
7. Providing automation support for C&Q during project commissioning.
8. Code review and testing of DeltaV code and configurations.
9. Supporting customer walkthroughs and interactive code reviews.
10. Maintaining an excellent understanding of DeltaV network and infrastructure.
11. Collaborating with other departments for project deliverables.
12. Adhering to site standards and procedures.
About You - Are Your Skills a Match?
The ideal candidate will have:
1. A BS/BA or higher in Science, Engineering, Instrumentation, Information Technology, or a related field, with a minimum of 2 years of relevant experience (relevant experience may substitute for education).
2. Good verbal and written communication skills.
3. Experience in project management.
4. Irish GXP biostartup experience is essential.
5. Knowledge of Asset Management System (AMS) is desirable.
