Accounting Specialist Job
A challenging role has emerged for an Accounting Specialist to join a client's expanding finance team in Limerick.
This is a key support position covering a broad remit across all areas of accounting and finance.
The Job Responsibilities
* Process supplier invoices and contractor payments, ensuring timely and accurate financial transactions.
* Manage bank reconciliations, maintaining the integrity of financial records.
* Oversee cost and budget reports, providing valuable insights into financial performance.
* Assist with internal audits and compliance processes, guaranteeing adherence to regulatory requirements.
* Resolve financial queries, offering expert advice and guidance.
* Contribute to monthly and annual close processes, ensuring seamless financial operations.
Required Skills and Qualifications
* 3rd level degree qualification preferably in Accounting or Finance.
* Part-qualified accountant, ideally CIMA certified but not essential.
* 2-3+ years relevant accounting experience, demonstrating a strong understanding of financial principles.
* Excellent IT skills, including proficiency in Microsoft applications.
Benefits and Perks
This is a permanent role with a salary range of €35-40k, commensurate with skills and experience. The position offers a hybrid working arrangement, with 3 days required in the office and 2 days from home or remote. Initial training and onboarding will be fully office-based.
