Role Overview
The Marketing & Events Executive will play a key role in supporting the Marketing Manager in planning, coordinating, and executing marketing campaigns and events that enhance brand awareness and drive customer engagement. This includes premium events such as car launches, showroom activations, and luxury brand collaborations. The role also involves media buying and campaign planning to ensure effective promotion across digital and traditional channels.
This is a hybrid role, offering a mix of office-based work at MSL Head Office and remote flexibility.
Key Responsibilities
* Event Management:
* Plan and execute premium events, including new car launches for brands such as Mercedes-Benz, smart, Xpeng, BYD, and Škoda, showroom openings, brand collaborations, and customer engagement activities.
* Coordinate logistics, suppliers, and budgets to ensure seamless delivery.
* Manage event invitations, RSVPs, and post-event follow-up.
* Marketing Campaigns & Media Buying:
* Plan and execute integrated marketing campaigns across digital, print, radio, and outdoor media.
* Manage media buying activities, ensuring cost-effective placements and maximum reach.
* Liaise with media agencies and negotiate rates for advertising.
* Monitor campaign performance and provide reports with actionable insights.
* Content Creation & Digital Marketing:
* Create engaging content for social media, email newsletters, and website updates.
* Ensure brand consistency across all marketing materials.
* Brand Partnerships:
* Support collaborations with luxury brands and partners to deliver unique experiences for customers.
* Maintain strong relationships with external stakeholders and suppliers.
* Administration & Reporting:
* Maintain marketing calendars and ensure timely execution of activities.
* Track budgets and provide regular updates to the Marketing Manager.
Skills & Experience
* Degree in Marketing, Communications, or related field.
* 2+ years' experience in marketing and/or event management (automotive or luxury sector experience desirable).
* Strong organizational and project management skills.
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
* Proficiency in digital marketing tools and social media platforms.
* Experience with Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, InDesign, Illustrator) for content creation and design.
* Knowledge of media buying and campaign planning across multiple channels.
* Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
