Purpose of the Role
This position will diagnose and manage children with neurological disorders in CHI at Temple Street.
Responsibilities include general neurology outpatient clinics, new acute referrals, follow-up of patients, inpatient management of neurology patients, and participation in the acute neurology on-call rota.
Essential Criteria
Registration as a specialist in the Specialist Division of the Register of Medical Practitioners maintained by the Medical Council of Ireland in the specialty of paediatrics.
Two years postgraduate training and experience in paediatric neurology.
Ability to be registered as a specialist within 180 days of interview and maintain registration throughout employment.
Desirable Criteria
Clinical fellowship in Paediatric Neurology, national or international.
