The global product team is seeking a Lead Software Engineer to accelerate Payments AI solutions development within the Data, Analytics, and AI product suite. The team aims to build AI products that drive smarter decisions and better outcomes, responsibly leveraging assets to maximize ROI.
Engineers work in small, flexible teams, contributing to designing, building, and testing features across UI, backend data models, data flows, and more. There are no rigid structures; teams adapt their processes for their projects.
Responsibilities
* Lead strategic technical direction for applications, architectures, and development processes.
* Push boundaries of analytics and scalable applications.
* Contribute to product implementation and empower your team.
* Build and maintain analytics and data models for performance and scalability.
* Innovate by exploring and adopting new technologies.
* Lead with agility, guiding your team through changes.
* Coach and mentor a cross-functional engineering team.

* Collaborate with teams and business units to solve complex problems.
* Partner with Product Managers and Designers to define roadmaps and plan releases.
* Ensure projects meet customer demands and scale for growth.
Ideal Candidate Qualifications
* 10+ years of engineering experience in an agile environment.
* Experience leading complex full-stack application development.
* Proficiency with Java/Spring or C#; front-end frameworks like React, Typescript.
* Experience with Git, Jenkins, RESTful APIs, JSON/SOAP, SQL, multi-threading, message queuing.
* Hands-on with Python or Scala; expertise with Hadoop and data pipelines.
* Experience deploying data-driven applications and ML systems at scale.
* Background in data engineering or data science.
Desirable Capabilities
* Cloud-native development, microservices.
* Experience with Kafka, Zookeeper.
* Knowledge of security protocols, automated testing, monitoring tools.
