You will take a lead and manage the Testing team and coordinate all Testing activities with the Development team and continually drive improvements the testing processes and strategy.Key ResponsibilitiesParticipate in the creation, extension, and application of testing infrastructure and procedures necessary to assure the highest quality experience for end-usersWork closely with software development teams to identify and correct deviations from the product software specification using both third-party and in-house testing tools.Participate in the entire Agile development processManaging Testing team and coordinating all testing activities with the Development teamCreating detailed, comprehensive and well-structured test plans and test casesEstimating, prioritizing, planning and coordinating quality testing activitiesReview requirements, specifications and technical design documents to provide timely and meaningful feedbackDesign and develop automation scriptsTakes ownership of technical issues, troubleshoots issues and identifies root causes of faults or problems related to a wide range of technologies used internallyApply quality testing principles throughout the Agile product lifecycleActively engage in team meetings to drive process improvementParticipate in the creation, extension, and application of testing infrastructure and procedures necessary to assure the highest quality experience for end-usersWork closely with software development teams to identify and correct deviations from the product software specification using both third-party and in-house testing tools.Participate in the entire Agile development processManaging Testing team and coordinating all testing activities with the Development teamCreating detailed, comprehensive and well-structured test plans and test casesEstimating, prioritizing, planning and coordinating quality testing activitiesReview requirements, specifications and technical design documents to provide timely and meaningful feedbackDesign and develop automation scriptsTakes ownership of technical issues, troubleshoots issues and identifies root causes of faults or problems related to a wide range of technologies used internallyApply quality testing principles throughout the Agile product lifecycleActively engage in team meetings to drive process improvementPersonal SpecificationPrincipal Qualifications RequiredA third level qualification in ITWork Experience NecessaryStrong knowledge and adherence to Quality Assurance best practices and proceduresDemonstrated experience in designing and executing automated tests using Cypress and .NetExperience in querying MS SQL ServerDemonstrated experience in troubleshooting technical issues and finding a root cause of the problem including efficient resolution of the problem.Integration of tests scripts into Azure CI/CD pipeline (Execution, Monitoring and Reporting).Experience working in a TDD/BDD environment and can utilize technologies such as SpecFlow/Cucumber/Gherkin.Experience with test case management tools such as Azure Test Plans.Experience in managing a team is desirablePersonal characteristicsA professional and very dynamic person that can adapt to the ever-changing environment of Kefron.Must be high energy and self-motivated and deliver on agreed commitments in a professional and timely manner.This is a technical role, although full training will be delivered the role is best suited to those with technical acumen and looking to advance within this field.Excellent communications and relationship management skillsMust be a team player, yet highly self-driven and ambitiousStrong organisational skills in order to deliver on customers’ expectations.To have the ability to set realistic individual objectives to drive departmental goals.Kefron is proud to be an equal opportunity workplace.
