A leading manufacturing facility seeks a skilled Automation IT Specialist to join their team on a 12-month contract. The successful candidate will provide comprehensive technical support and maintenance services for the facility’s industrial automation systems.
Description:
The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in Allen Bradley PLC programming, as well as proficiency in working within a GMP environment. Daily tasks include troubleshooting and resolving issues with various equipment, such as lab machines, production machinery, network connectivity problems related to RF scanning guns and label printers. Additionally, the Automation IT Technician must be able to configure new/replacement wireless access points (WAPs) onsite. This role involves building/test custom machine installations for laboratory and production equipment while adhering to high standards of quality control.
