Develop and maintain long-term, profitable relationships
with new and existing clients, delivering excellent account management and outstanding customer service.
Achieve agreed sales and credit targets
, monitoring performance regularly and generating new business opportunities within the assigned territory.
Close sales opportunities
by building rapport with prospective clients, presenting product and service benefits, and effectively addressing objections.
Provide competitor and industry insights
to the Lubricants Manager, contributing to market strategy through ongoing monitoring of competitive products and customer responses.
Identify opportunities for new products and services
by evaluating current product performance and recognizing unmet customer needs.
Manage daily pricing
within your area to ensure continuous competitiveness and alignment with company strategy.
Collaborate with local Corrib Oil Commercial Managers
to support and drive sales initiatives across each region.
Maintain and enhance professional knowledge
by participating in relevant training, educational programs, and development opportunities.
Work closely with Head Office teams
(Sales/Admin, Senior Credit Controller, Finance, HR) to obtain support, guidance, and expertise as required.
Represent the company at promotional events
, including industry shows such as agricultural exhibitions, supporting brand visibility and customer engagement.

Knowledge/Skills/Abilities
Strong and effective selling skills with a minimum of 2–3 years' field sales experience (knowledge of the oil distribution industry is an advantage).
Self-starter with the ability to set, pursue, and achieve targets aligned with company growth strategies.
Excellent interpersonal, communication, and presentation skills.
Proven ability to build and maintain a strong network of key contacts.
Highly organised, with strong time-management skills and the ability to plan work efficiently.
Demonstrated ability to meet deadlines and manage multiple priorities.
Highly self-motivated and capable of working effectively with minimal supervision.
Strong team player with the ability to collaborate across departments.
Results-driven mindset with a focus on achieving and exceeding objectives.
Proficient IT skills, including solid working knowledge of Excel, PowerPoint, and Word.
