We are seeking a highly motivated individual with previous leadership experience to join our Finance & Accounting Team. As a Department Manager in Accounts, you will be responsible for the strategic, operational and personnel management for an Accounts team. This role reports to the Finance, Accounting & Tax Director.

This is a 12 month contract.

What you'll do

* Management of the daily business of an accounts team ensuring all work is complete and accurate adhering to defined deadlines and reporting of relevant KPIs.
* Developing, motivating, and guiding an accounts team, ensuring they have the skills, resources and management supports to perform their tasks to the best of their abilities
* Project management of Accounts, Tax and Finance projects.
* Implementation of process optimisation and digitalisation measures.
* Management of key systems including release testing and technical queries.

What you'll need

* Third-level degree in relevant field desirable
* Qualification in Finance / Accounting / Business desirable but not essential
* ACCA, ACA, CPA or CIMA qualification desirable
* Minimum 3 years management experience
* Excellent attention to detail
* Excellent presentation, communication, and time management skills
* Flexible with the ability to work under pressure
* Excellent project management skills with an ability to set and achieve goals, meet deadlines and multi-task.
* Experience of Google workspace desirable.
* Willingness to travel
