Finance Manager A growing and well-established business in the engineering and industrial sector is seeking a Finance Manager to join its finance team at headquarters in Navan. This is a hands-on role working closely with the Head of Finance, offering significant ownership across the finance function and the opportunity to play a key role in supporting the continued growth of the business.This role is ideal for an experienced finance professional who enjoys being involved in both day-to-day finance operations and higher-level reporting and decision support in a stable, expanding organisation.What you'll be doing:Lead the month-end close process, including journals, management accounts and detailed commentaryOversee AP/AR and ensure smooth running of daily transactional processesReview and ensure accuracy of bank, stock and balance sheet reconciliationsManage VAT, VIES and Intrastat compliance and reportingOversee monthly payroll process and related controlsSupport budgeting, forecasting and cashflow managementAct as a key point of contact for external auditors and support the annual audit processDrive continuous improvement in processes, controls and reportingSupport and deputise for the Head of Finance as requiredWhat we're looking for:Qualified Accountant (ACA / ACCA / CIMA)Background in practice or industryStrong experience managing month-end and management reportingComfortable operating in a hands-on Finance Manager roleStrong analytical skills with attention to detailAbility to manage multiple priorities and deadlinesStrong Excel skills and general systems proficiencyProactive, collaborative approach with the confidence to take ownership
